Aaron Austin Baughn

Aaron A. Baughn, 42, of Wentzville, Mo., formerly of Poplar Bluff, Mo., passed away Thursday, Nov. 30, 2017 at St. Louis University Hospital.

Aaron, the son of Millie (Garner) Baughn and the late Rick Baughn, was born Feb. 6, 1975 in Poplar Bluff. He was of the Christian faith, and was owner and operator of A.B. Wildlife and Pest Control in Wentzville. Aaron was an avid outdoorsman who loved wildlife, hunting, fishing and being at the beach and lake.

He was married to Stephanie Childs in Cape Girardeau, Mo., daughter of Raymond and Gayle Childs of Morehouse, Mo., on May 8, 1999. She survives of the home.

In addition to his wife and mother, Aaron is also survived by a daughter Madison Baughn of the home; a brother Adam (Brandy) Baughn of Poplar Bluff; two nieces, Haley and Micalah Baughn; three nephews, Hunter, Asher and Kaleb Baughn; his sister-in-law and brother-in-law Jennifer (Childs) and Scott Turner of High Ridge, Mo.; and numerous other family members and friends.

Visitation will begin at 12:30 p.m. Tuesday at Cotrell Funeral Service in Poplar Bluff. The funeral service will follow at 2:30 p.m. in the chapel with Rev. Jerry Moore officiating. Burial will be at the Poplar Bluff City Cemetery.
