Albert Johnson Sr.

Albert Johnson, Sr., 73, of Broseley, died Sunday, Dec. 8, 2019 at Landmark Hospital in Cape Girardeau.

Mr. Johnson, the son of the late Willie Johnson, Jr. and Mary McKeller, was born Sept. 18, 1946 in Parma. He retired from General Motors in Indiana. Mr. Johnson enjoyed watching TV and visiting with family and friends.

Survivors include five children, James Boyd of Broseley, and Albert Johnson, Jr., David Johnson and Lisa Bond of Oklahoma and Michael Dye of Springfield; two brothers, Harold (Brenda) Johnson and Danny Johnson; two sisters, Barbara McKellar and Carolyn Mason all of Poplar Bluff; and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Visitation will begin at 1 p.m. Friday at Cotrell Funeral Chapel with the funeral service following at 2 p.m. The Rev. Joe McClure will officiate. Interment will be at Poplar Bluff City Cemetery.
