Alice Margaret Bradley, 85, of Poplar Bluff died Thursday, Oct. 1, 2009 at The Cedargate Care Center in Poplar Bluff.
Mrs. Bradley was born Oct. 22, 1923 in Burrton, Kans. She was an active member of the First United Methodist Church, and had retired as an RN with the John J. Pershing VA Medical Center. Mrs. Bradley was also a member of NARFE (National Assoc. of Retired Federal Employees). She enjoyed watching sports on TV especially the St. Louis Cardinals and Rams.
On Oct. 4, 1952 she married William B. Bradley in Pocahontas, Ark. He preceded her in death on Jan. 9, 2005.
Survivors include four children: Lucinda R. Noel of Rangely, Colo., Christina M. Lagerson of Jackson, Tenn., John W. Bradley of Carrollton, Tex. and Ronald E. Bradley of San Antonio, Tex.; seven grandchildren, five great-grandchildren; three sisters, Jean Lewis of Alexandria, Va., Nettie Samborski of York, Pa. and Eula Chiodini of St. Louis; and two brothers, George W. Rusk of Galt and Charles L. Rusk of Bradley, Ill.
Visitation will begin at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Cotrell Funeral Chapel in Poplar Bluff. The funeral service will follow at 11 a.m. in the Chapel with the Rev. Charles Buck officiating. Burial will be at the City Cemetery in Poplar Bluff.
