Alice (Wade) Hicks

Alice Hicks, 66, of Poplar Bluff, died Tuesday, April 7, 2015 at her residence shortly after the death of her husband.

Mrs. Hicks was born May 10, 1948 in St. James, Mo., to the late George E. and Carmalee M. Bailey Wade. She was a homemaker who enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.

Survivors include two daughters: Patricia A. Goodale (Roger), of Poplar Bluff and Rebekah L. Tompkins (Shannon), of Williamsville; six grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; a sister, Sandy Kinney; and a brother, Randy Kinney, both of Qulin, Mo.

A son, Michael Hicks also preceded Mrs. Hicks in death.

Visitation will begin at 12:30 p.m. Sunday, at the Wappapello Cotrell Funeral Chapel with the funeral service following at 2 p.m. The Rev. Tim Schultz will officiate. Burial will be at Little Brushy Cemetery.
