Modell Scobey was born September 17, 1921 in Vilonia, AR. and died July 30, 2018. Modell’s life goal was to make life lived between the dash (birth to death) count.

Those who knew her best can testify to her contribution through her love, listening, faith and wisdom.

In 1941 she married N.O. Scobey at Campbell, MO. She loved being a homemaker and mother. She served as bookkeeper in the family auto parts business, enjoyed sewing and served in many positions in her church. After moving to Poplar Bluff in 1961, she conducted a Bible Study in her home for over 15 years. She was a member of the Gideon Auxiliary and a long time member of New Covenant Fellowship.

Modell was preceded in death by her husband of 56 years, N.O.; her parents, C.A. and Bertha Tullos; sisters Olivia Cruce and Mildred Coats, and brothers Luther and Earl Tullos.
