Alma F. Ward Million, 85, of Poplar Bluff, Mo., died Sunday, Feb. 2, 2014 at Bethesda Dilworth Memorial Home in St. Louis, Mo.
Mrs. Million was born Oct. 27, 1928 in Waverly, Tenn. to the late A.R. and Della E. Warren Trull. She was a member of Fellowship General Baptist Church and was a member of the Poplar Bluff Garden Club. Mrs. Million had retired after working many years as an LPN for Dr. E. Carl Carlson. She enjoyed spending time with her family, shopping, crocheting and landscaping her yard.
In 1947, she was married to William Ralph Ward. He preceded her in death in 1986. In 1991, she married Cecil Roy Million. He preceded her in death in 2010.
Survivors include her son, Roger Ward and wife, Emily of St. Louis, Mo.; two stepsons: W. Dean Million and wife, Cindy of Poplar Bluff and Rev. Stephen Roy Million and wife, Judy of Lee's Summit, Mo.; two grandchildren; six step-grandchildren; five step-great-grandchildren; and a sister, Betty Sorrell of Paris, Tenn.
Two brothers and two sisters also preceded Mrs. Million in death.
Visitation will be from 6:00 to 7:30 p.m. Thursday at Cotrell Funeral Chapel in Poplar Bluff. The funeral service will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday in the funeral chapel with Rev. Byron Beck officiating. Burial will follow in the Woodlawn section of the Poplar Bluff City Cemetery.
