Alvin Eugene ""Gene"" Woodrum, 69, of Poplar Bluff, went to join his heavenly father on Tuesday, December 3, 2013.
Mr. Woodrum was born in Louisville, KY, on December 3, 1944, to Alvin Madison and Martha Washington Lucas Woodrum.
Mr. Woodrum was a God Fearing, Jesus Loving Man, and had worked as a Front End Mechanic at Alan's Custom Muffler. He enjoyed spending time with his family, hunting, fishing, cooking and reading science fiction.
Survivors include his children; Toney Woodrum, of Poplar Bluff, David Woodrum (Dawn) of Overland, MO, Christina McCallister of Hillsboro, MO, four grandchildren; Jacob and Josh Woodrum, Aaron Wheeler, and Luke McCallister, and his fiance, Linda Garrison.
His parents, and a sister, Jeannette Woods, preceded him in death.
Visitation will be from 6 ? 8 p.m. Friday, at Cotrell Funeral Service. Funeral Services will begin at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, with Rev. Don Richmann officiating. Interment will follow at Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
