Angela Carol Martin

Angela Carol Martin passed away in the comfort of home on Sunday, August 20th 2017. She was surrounded by family and friends as she took her journey to heaven.

Angie was born on November 28th 1961, to Charles and Paulette Hester in Poplar Bluff, MO. She graduated from high school in 1980 and later from TRCC with an Associates of Arts degree in Art. Jim and Angie married on March 19th 1981. They were foster parents for 20 years with over 100 foster kids coming through their home. Her greatest joy was spending time with her family and friends. She enjoyed painting and taking vacations to Branson with her family. She was always full of joy, and praised the Lord in all she did. She spent her time helping take care of her grandparents and close friends.

Angie leaves behind her mother Paulette Hester, her brother Terry Hester (Paula), her husband James W. Martin, her seven children; Chad Martin (Bethar), Makayla Cooper (Ryan), Shawn Martin, Brian Martin (Lauren), Cody Martin (Felisha), Marion Partain (Charlie) and Jacob Martin. She also leaves behind her seven grandchildren; James T. Martin, Zoe Cooper, Lily Cooper, Adrianne Martin, Piper McDonald, Mason Martin, and Corban Martin; and one niece Kasmira Hester.

Angie was preceded in death by her father Charles Hester.

Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Cotrell Funeral Chapel. The funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at Fellowship General Baptist Church with the Rev. Byron Beck officiating. Burial will follow at Brown Chapel Cemetery in Broseley.
