Ann Bernadette Reeves, 68, of Poplar Bluff, died Saturday, May 8, 2010 at her residence.
Mrs. Reeves was born August 13, 1941 in Fall River, Mass. She had taught school for three years as a business teacher in Detroit, Mich. Mrs. Reeves was a member of the First United Methodist Church where she had been a Sunday school teacher. She was also a member of P.E.O., a past member of the Garden Club, a former Girl Scout leader and enjoyed playing golf and bridge, spending time on the river in the summer and shopping with her daughters.
On December 22, 1963 she married Bob Reeves in Noblesville, Ind. He survives.
Also surviving are three daughters, Kim Rhodes and husband Randall of Owasso, Okla., Sherri Rose and husband Warren of Springfield, and Pam Crews and husband Mark of Poplar Bluff; four grandchildren, Mark Crews, Matt Crews, Tyler Rhodes and Nicholas Rose; and one brother, Ed Harper and wife Heather of Richmond, VA.
Preceding Mrs. Reeves in death were her parents, Edwin and Eleanor (Edwards) Harper.
Visitation will begin at 1:00 p.m. Monday, May 10th at the First United Methodist Church in Poplar Bluff, with the funeral service following at 2:30 p.m. at the church with Rev. Charles Buck officiating. Burial will be at the City Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers the family requests memorials may be made to the First United Methodist Church, 500 No. Main St., Poplar Bluff, Mo. 63901; or to The ALS Association Development Department, 27001 Agoura Road, Suite 250, Calabasas Hills, Calif. 91301.
