Ann (Hafford) Rogers

July 18, 1951 — April 12, 2015

Ann Rogers, 63, of Jackson, and formerly, of Poplar Bluff died Sunday, April 12, 2015 at St. Francis Hospital, in Cape Girardeau.

Mrs. Rogers was born July 18, 1951, in Poplar Bluff to the late Paul and Bertha Foster Hafford. She was of the Protestant faith; and had previously worked as a dietitian at John J. Pershing VA Medical Center, in Poplar Bluff. Mrs. Rogers enjoyed spending time with her family, flower arranging, arts and crafts, cooking, knitting, sewing and music.

On Feb. 14, 2004, she married Larry William Rogers, in Ferguson, Mo. He survives of the home.

Other survivors include two children: Jennifer (Keith) Chitmon, of Jonesboro, Ark. and Rodney (Kayse) LeGrand, of Dexter; a step-daughter, Jamie (Chip) Stegman, of Fruitland; a step-son, Larry W. "Will" Rogers II, of Cape Girardeau; nine grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; two sisters: Carolyn Burkeen, of Bowling Green, Ky., and Evelyn Weaver, of Little Rock, Ark.; and many nieces and nephews.

Two brothers, Eldon Hafford and Larry Hafford also preceded Mrs. Rogers in death.

Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Cotrell Funeral Chapel, in Poplar Bluff. The funeral service will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday in the funeral chapel with Pastor Jay McGarrity officiating. Burial will be at Memorial Gardens Cemetery, in Poplar Bluff.
