Anna Laura Davidson

Anna Laura Davidson, 82, of Poplar Bluff, Mo. passed away Sunday, Sept. 4, 2016 at Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center surrounded by a multitude of family and friends.

Mrs. Davidson, the daughter of Ernest and Edna Prenzel Eddings, was born Sept. 1, 1934 in Poplar Bluff, Mo. She attended Temple Baptist Church in Poplar Bluff and was a homemaker. Mrs. Davidson enjoyed crafting, baking, and gardening and but most of all, spending time with her family.

On Dec. 16, 1950, she married Joe V. Davidson in Poplar Bluff. He preceded her in death on Dec. 5, 1994.

Survivors include her daughters, Debra Gibbs and her husband, Bradley of Doniphan, Mo. and Denise R. Nichols and Donna Davidson both of Poplar Bluff; six grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; three sisters: Edna Rose Sinks of Paducah, Ky., Carolyn Sinks of Poplar Bluff and Mary Ellen Helton and husband, James of Arnold, Mo.; and one brother, Garley Eddings and wife, June of Wappapello, Mo.

In addition to her parents and husband, Mrs. Davidson was also preceded in death by her son-in-law, Kent Nichols.

A graveside service and burial will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at New Oak Hill Cemetery in Butler County, Mo. with Rev. Carl Williams officiating.
