Arnold Hamm

Herbert Arnold Hamm, 87, of Imperial, Mo., passed away Wednesday, March 28 at de Greeff Hospice House in St. Louis, Mo.

Mr. Hamm, the son of the late Herbert Hamm and Edith Buchanan (and stepson of Grover Buchanan), was born Sept. 3, 1930 in Madison, Illinois. He was a member of the New Hope United Methodist Church of Arnold, Missouri and was a retired administrator and educator. Mr. Hamm enjoyed spending time with his family, amateur radio, painting, listening to gospel music and watching old westerns.

On July 17, 1953 he married Laura Hamm in Poplar Bluff. She preceded him in death in 2016.

Survivors include his children, Brian (Laura) Hamm and their daughter, Emma and Anita (Gary) Harris and their daughters, Rachael and Jessica; two great-grandchildren; Xavier and Alice Bauman; and brother Alfred (Peggy) Buchanan.
