Arthur Harvey Becker

Arthur Harvey Becker, 83, of Poplar Bluff died Wednesday, Feb. 15, 2012 at the Missouri Veterans Home in Cape Girardeau, Mo.

Mr. Becker was born June 4, 1928 in Shawnee, Okla. He was a member of Zion Lutheran Church, and was a retired farmer. Mr. Becker was a veteran of the U. S. Army having served in Korea. He enjoyed fixing and repairing things and restoring old farm equipment.

Survivors include a sister, Florence Stein of Redding, Calif.; two nieces, Sharon Junge of Auburn, Calif. and Joan Bosworth of Redding, Calif.; and a nephew, Walter Stein of Cottonwood, Calif., all who were his caretakers.

A graveside service and burial will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday, March 20, 2012 at the Poplar Bluff City Cemetery with Pastor Marty Reed officiating.
