Audra Louise Vandover Cox, 93, of Poplar Bluff, MO passed away Saturday, December 13, 2014, at Poplar Bluff Regional Hospital.
Mrs. Cox was born on May 13, 1921 in Poplar Bluff to the late Lawrence Douglas and Nettie Malissa Webb Vandover. She and Vernon Cox where married in Nashville, TN. He preceded her in death in 1992.
Mrs. Cox was of the Baptist faith and had her membership with a church in Nashville. She had retired as a product demonstrator and was known as ""the cookie lady"". She enjoyed reading, watching the St. Louis Cardinals, and traveling.
Survivors include "" her children"", James and Thelma King, of Poplar Bluff, Dorothy and Carl Townsend, of Malden; several other nieces and nephews; and several grand- nieces and nephews.
Along with her parents and husband, she was also preceded in death by her three sisters: Myrtle Lee Jeffries Moore, Virginia Grace Perkins Severs, and Laura Ellen King.
Visitation will be from 1 ? 2 p.m. Tuesday at Cotrell Funeral Chapel. Rev. Gene Lancaster will officiate the funeral services beginning at 2 p.m. Interment will follow at City Cemetery.
