Barbara Sue Fears

Barbara Sue Fears, 71, of Trinity, NC went home to be with her Lord, on Tuesday, Sept. 15, 2015, at GrayBrier Nursing Home in North Carolina.
Daughter of Charles O. Fears and Bernice L. Fears, Ms. Fears enjoyed talking on the phone, playing cards, word search, and activities at GrayBrier. She was a woman who came into the room not as "I'm here" but as "here I am." She worked at Clearview Bag Company in Thomasville, NC for 17 years.
Ms. Fears was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Dennis C. Fears.
Survivors include three daughters: Kay Lynn Fears of Kansas City, Mo. and Ruth Charlene Gillis and Brandye Leigh Fears-(Victor Ruiz) all of North Carolina; six grandchildren: Matthew and Chantel Gillis, Lexica, Kaleigh and Lillian Payne all of North Carolina, Xavier Payne of Virginia; brother: Charles (Ruth) Fears; stepmother; Ruth Fears, Sr. all of Illinois; sisters: Sharon Blair of North Carolina and Judy (Glendol) Garrett and sister-in-law, Brook Fears of Poplar Bluff.
A graveside service will be held at 1:00 pm Saturday Oct. 10, 2015 at Sparkman Cemetery in Butler Co.
A gathering of family and friends will follow at Johnny's Homestyle Buffet at Green Forest Hwy PP for tea or coffee but anyone is welcome to eat at their own expense.
