Barbara Kathryn Keating

Barbara Kathryn Keating, 83, of Dexter, Missouri passed away on December 20, 2025, in the home of her caregiver, in Dexter, Missouri.

Barbara was born on February 26, 1942, to L.W. and Gertrude (Stephens) Rose in Rives, Missouri. She married Larry on May 27, 1961, at Silverdale Baptist Church.

Barbara was a member of Temple Baptist Church. She and Larry loved working with the youth and being around the children. She had worked at Bob Evan's Shoes and Fuller Jewelry before she became a library aid in the school district. Barbara loved Christmas and she and Larry liked to travel and spend time with family. Everyone that knew Barbara felt loved and blessed.

Barbara is survived by siblings, Patricia Snider and Hugh (Tamara) Rose, and several nieces and nephews.

Barbara was preceded in death by her parents, L.W. and Gertrude; husband, Larry; and brother, Louis Rose.

Memorial Gathering will be on Saturday, January 10th, 2026, from 10-11am at Cotrell Willow Ridge Funeral & Cremation Services with Memorial Services immediately following. Burial will take place at a later date at Missouri Veteran's Cemetery in Bloomfield, MO.
