Maurine Killian, 84, of Sikeston, Mo, formerly of Poplar Bluff, died Tuesday, Dec. 24, 2013 at the Sikeston Convalescent Care Center.
Mrs. Killian was born Feb. 5, 1929 in Poplar Bluff to the late Fred and Sweetie Belle Pace Aylor. She was a member of Concordia Lutheran Church in Sikeston and was a retired beautician. Mrs. Killian was also a member of the Agee Club in Poplar Bluff. She enjoyed flower arranging, landscaping, remodeling houses with her husband and sewing.
On Aug. 13, 1948, she married William Thomas Killian in St. Louis, Mo. He preceded her in death on Aug. 19, 2009.
Survivors include two daughters, Pam Killian and Kimberly Killian of both of Texas; two grandchildren, Travis Acup and Briana Linney and husband Dr. Josh Linney; a great-granddaughter, Jenna Linney; two sisters, Ila Witte of Poplar Bluff and Shirley Lane of Sikeston, Mo.; and a brother, Bud Aylor and wife, Joyce of Poplar Bluff.
Visitation will begin at 9:30 a.m. Saturday at Cotrell Funeral Chapel in Poplar Bluff. The funeral service will follow at 10:30 a.m. in the Chapel with Rev. Jim Schremp officiating. Burial will be at Poplar Bluff City Cemetery.
