Barbara A. Lawrence

Barbara A. Lawrence, 75, of Wappapello, Mo., passed away Monday, Sept. 11, 2017 at her residence.

Barbara, the daughter of the late Marshall and Mavis (Brawley) Bryant was born Nov. 14, 1941 in Morehouse, Mo. Barbara was of the Protestant faith and was a retired Registered Nurse. She was dedicated to her family and to her job of taking care of babies. In earlier years, she enjoyed cooking, camping and being outdoors.

On May 22, 1959, she married Raymond Lawrence in Circle City, Mo. He survives of the home.

Survivors include a daughter, Kelly (Michael) Starbuck of Morehouse; two grandchildren, Aaron (Heather) Lawrence of Olive Branch, Miss. and Logan Starbuck of Morehouse; two great grandchildren; Ahnna and Drace Lawrence; two brothers, Sonny (Donna) Bryant of Memphis, Tenn. and Norman (Carolyn) Vickers of Marion, Ark.; and several nieces and nephews.

A son, Timothy (Nibbs) Lawrence preceded her in death.

The family wishes to give special thanks to Jerrica and Jeanie for their care of Barbara.

A gathering of family and friends will begin at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Wappapello Cotrell Funeral Chapel with a Celebration of Life following at 3 p.m. Mr. John Launius will officiate.
