Barbara Jean (Brawner) Mugford

Barbara Brawner Mugford, 77, of Poplar Bluff, MO, formerly of Hopkinsville, Kentucky, passed away at 2:20 PM on December 24, 2022 at Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center in Poplar Bluff, Missouri of natural causes.
A private ceremony will be held at Riverside Cemetery in Hopkinsville, KY at a later date.
A native of Hopkinsville, Kentucky, she was born December 6, 1945, to the late Everett Newton Brawner and Mary Elizabeth Brawner.
Barbara was retired after a career of being a nursing home director and attended Little Brown General  Baptist church in Poplar Bluff, Missouri.  She enjoyed baking, playing all types of card games and reading action, mystery and dramatic novels.
Barbara is survived by her sister, sons, daughter, grandchildren, and great-grandchidren, whom reside in Missouri, Kentucky, and Tennessee.
Barbara was preceded in death by her mother, father, and brother.
