Barbara Kay Thompson

Barbara Kay Thompson, 46, of Poplar Bluff died Wednesday, Feb. 17, 2010 at her residence.

Ms. Thompson was born June 14, 1963 in Poplar Bluff. She was a graduate of Poplar Bluff High School and attended Southeast Missouri State University. She was employed as a secretary at Poplar Bluff Medical Partners. Ms. Thompson enjoyed spending time with her family and friends and 2 little dogs.

Survivors include her sister, Carol Laramie of St. Charles; brother, James Godwin and wife JoAnn of Poplar Bluff; special friend, Louise Ballard of Poplar Bluff; nieces, Kay Dreher of Wentzville and Carrie Budde of St. Charles; and nephews, Alan Godwin of Poplar Bluff and Mitch Snider of Key West, Fla.

Visitation will be from 9:30 - 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Cotrell Funeral Chapel. The funeral service will follow at 10:30 a.m. Saturday in the Chapel. Burial will be at Sparkman Cemetery in Butler County.
