Barbara Wade

Barbara Wade, 86, died peacefully Sunday, Oct. 2, 2016, after several years of heart related health issues.

Barbara was born to James and Minta Brown in 1930. She was the beloved wife of Thurman Wade (deceased), mother of Douglas West, dear step-mother of Marna Wade, wonderful grandma to Karen and Tracy, devoted cousin and friend to many.

She especially enjoyed living in Poplar Bluff, near her life-long, cherished friends. Heartfelt thanks to those who visited Barbara so faithfully and treated her with kindness during her long illness.

Visitation will begin at noon Thursday, at Holy Cross Episcopal Church in Poplar Bluff, with the funeral service following at 1 p.m., with Rev. Annette Joseph officiating. Burial will take place at 3 p.m., at the Missouri State Veterans Cemetery in Bloomfield.
