Beatrice Mae Shelton, 78, of Kansas City, Mo., formerly of Poplar Bluff and Waynesville, Mo. died Tuesday, Nov. 16, 2010 at her residence.
Mrs. Shelton was born Nov. 30, 1931 in Steelville, Mo. She was a homemaker, and was a lifetime member of the V.F.W. and D.A.V. Auxiliaries. She enjoyed spending time with her family.
On Oct. 12, 1951, she married Regenal G. ""Joe"" Shelton in Poplar Bluff. He preceded her in death on Oct. 30, 2004.
Survivors include two children, Susan A. Fleeger and husband Robert and Richard Shelton all of Kansas City, Mo.; three grandchildren, Scott Shelton, Krystle Shelton and Joseph Fleeger; four great-grandchildren, Chloe, Alyssa, Brookelyn and Dillon; two step-great-grandchildren, Timothy and Colby; a sister, Joyce Humble McDaniel and husband, Edward of San Antonio; and a brother, Bill Humble and wife, Mary of Poplar Bluff.
Her parents, Tom and Elva (Tompkins) Humble also preceded her in death.
A graveside service will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Poplar Bluff with the Rev. Jean Dicken officiating.
