Beaulah Bea Mae Christian

Beaulah ""Bea"" Mae Christian, 86, of Poplar Bluff, MO, passed away January 3, 2014, at Poplar Bluff Regional Hospital.

Mrs. Christian was born September 25, 1927 in Zalma, MO to William Adolph and Mary Chilton Slaughter.

Mrs. Christian was a member of Midland Church, had worked in shoe sales and enjoyed spending time with her family, planting flowers and working in the yard.

Survivors include her children, Jerry Stratton (Dianna) of Broseley, Wanda Wilson (Ralph) of Poplar Bluff, Joan Dunivan-Brown (Tom) of Harviell, Kenny Stratton (Shari) and Timmy Stratton, all of Poplar Bluff, 11 grandchildren, 24 great grandchildren, and 6 great-great grandchildren.

Her parents, 5 brothers, 3 sisters, and a grandson preceded her in death.

Visitation will be Tuesday at Cotrell Funeral Chapel, starting at 10 a.m., and continuing until time of service at 11 a.m., with Rev. Paul White officiating. Interment will follow at Brown Chapel Cemetery, in Broseley.
