Betty Harris

Betty Jean Harris, 72, of Poplar Bluff, passed away on Sunday, November 25, 2018 at Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center

She was born on July 29, 1946 to Delbert and Joyce (Jones) DeMent in Pocohontas, AR.

Betty enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, but most of all, she loved being around her grandchildren.

Betty is survived by her two children, Sonya (James) Monaghan of Poplar Bluff, MO and Chris Lambert of Walnut Ridge, AR; ten grandchildren, Alicia Pierce, Sarah Orick, Antone Ray, Kayla (Daniel) Evans, Kimberly McDade, Jeremy McDade, TeeJaye Monaghan, Summer Monaghan, Keith Monaghan, and Myles Monaghan; twelve great-grandchildren; two sisters, Mary (Donald) Dick of Maynard, AR and Louise Roy of St. Louis, MO; and two brothers, Ricky (Roxanne) Harris of St. Louis, MO and Jimmy (Barb) Harris of Pocahontas, AR; .

She was preceded in death by her parents and one daughter, Debra McDade.

The family will hold a private graveside service.
