Betty Lois Lewis

Betty Lois Lewis, 74, of Poplar Bluff died Wednesday, Jan. 7, 2009 at Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center.

Mrs. Lewis was born June 19, 1934 in Carroll County, Virginia. She was of the Baptist faith, and was a homemaker. Mrs. Lewis enjoyed working crossword puzzles, cooking, watching TV and playing cards.

On Oct. 10, 1970 she was married to Bailey Lewis. He survives.

Other survivors include her children: Alesa Campbell, of Mount Airy, NC, Barbara Stoneman and her husband Michael, of Matthews, NC, George Daniel Heth and his wife Judy, of Nashville, Tenn., and Marion Gail Miller; 10 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren; and brother, Roy Lee Smith, of Lowgap, NC.

Visitation will be from 6 - 8 p.m. Thursday at Cotrell Funeral Chapel in Poplar Bluff. The funeral service will be at 1:30 p.m. Friday in the Chapel with Pastor Chuck Clark officiating. Burial will be at Woodlawn Cemetery in Poplar Bluff.
