Betty Jane Little, 64, of Poplar Bluff, Mo., died Wednesday, Sept. 10, 2014 at her residence.
Mrs. Little was born July 8, 1950 in Neelyville, Mo. She was a member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses in Poplar Bluff and was a homemaker. Mrs. Little enjoyed spending time with her family, especially with her grandchildren, fishing, playing bingo and watching Family Feud.
Survivors include five children: Shella Dye, of Savanna, Ga., Stanley Dye, of Laurel, Md., Michael Dye and fiance, Michelle Butler, of Jefferson City, Mo., Erica Dye, of Atlanta, Ga. and Eric Dye, of Poplar Bluff; her mother, Ida Mae Warren Dye, of Springfield; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; a sister, Ruthie Mae Dye, of Springfield, Mo.; six brothers, Willie B. Dye, Jr., George Dye, Henry Dye, Jimmy Dye, Preston Joe Dye and Edward Dye, all of Springfield, Mo.; and special friend, Antoine Hayes, of Poplar Bluff.
Her father, Willie B. Dye, Sr. and sister, Rosie Lee Hunter Dye also preceded Mrs. Little in death.
Visitation will begin at noon Sunday at Cotrell Funeral Chapel in Poplar Bluff with the funeral service following at 1:30 p.m. Burial will be at 9 a.m. Monday at the Poplar Bluff City Cemetery.
