Betty Sue Moore

Betty Sue Moore, 66, of Wappapello, died Saturday, December 12, 2009 at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau.

Mrs. Moore was born April 27, 1943 in Poplar Bluff, and had been employed at Tan-N-Time in Poplar Bluff. She enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and fishing and traveling, particularly to South Padre Island.

On March 17, 1960 she was married to Clyde Moore in Poplar Bluff. He survives.

Also surviving are three children, Teresa Mannon of Wappapello and Sheila S. Wisdom and Shirley Anglim-Casey both of Poplar Bluff; nine grandchildren; six great grandchildren; three sisters, Jane Johnson of Phoenix, Ariz. and Patricia Davis and Sharon Burpo both of Poplar Bluff; and one brother, Ronald Wood of Phoenix, Ariz.

Visitation will be from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. Tuesday at the Wappapello Cotrell Funeral Chapel. Funeral Services will be at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday at the Wappapello Cotrell Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Everett Gunter officiating. Burial will be at Mt. Zion Cemetery on Hwy W in Butler County.
