Billy Don Long

Billy Don Long, 67, of Poplar Bluff, MO, passed away Sunday, April 21, 2019 at his residence.

Bill, the son of the late Leo and Evelyn Rennison Long, was born September 5, 1951 in Kennett, MO. He proudly served his country while in the US Marine Corps during the Vietnam War. Bill enjoyed spending time with his family, listening to music and being outdoors.

Survivors include three sons, Mark, Dan and Michael; three brothers, Gary Long (Cheryl), Danny Long and Ronald L. Long; three sisters, Sharon Laninga, Sandra Chamber and Kathy Long; and many nieces and nephews.

Bill was also preceded in death by two brothers, Gerald Wayne Long and Michael Long and his stepfather, Herschel Phelps.

A graveside service with full military honors will be at the Missouri State Veterans Cemetery in Bloomfield with his brother the Rev. Gary Long officiating.
