Billy Gene Willard

Billy Gene Willard, Sr., 51, of Fisk, Mo., passed away Tuesday, June 25, 2013 at Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center.

Mr. Willard was born July 4, 1961, in Columbia, Mo. He was of the Baptist faith and a truck driver. Mr. Willard enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren, fishing and hunting.

On June 23, 1987, he married Debra V. Windland, in Poplar Bluff. She survives.

Other survivors include his children: Melissa Windland (Chad) of Wappapello, Mo., Anna Bennett (Richard) of Greenville, Mo. and Billy G. Willard, Jr., of Fisk, Mo.; grandchildren: Jasmine Landers, Brittney Bennett, Cody Bennett and Kadin Willard; mother, Anna Stubblefield Willard, of Poplar Bluff; and brother, Ricky Willard, also of Poplar Bluff.

His father, Arlin Willard, son, Leon Willard and brother, James Willard preceded him in death.

Visitation will be from 9 to 10 a.m. Saturday at Cotrell Funeral Chapel in Poplar Bluff. A graveside service and burial will follow at 10:30 a.m. at Black Creek Cemetery with Rev. Jim Schremp officiating.
