Blanch Eulala Adams, 87, of Wappapello, Mo., formerly of Parma, Mo. passed away Thursday, July 18, 2013 at Mark Twain Caring Center in Poplar Bluff.
Mrs. Adams was born Jan. 31, 1926 in Parma, Mo. During her earlier years she was a ballroom dancer and sang with the singing group, ""Sweet Adelines"". Mrs. Adams later worked in retail sales. She enjoyed spending time with her family, reading, gardening, working crossword puzzles and playing games.
On June 13, 1944, she married Ruben L. Adams in Arkansas. He preceded her in death in 1991.
Survivors include her children: Billy R. Adams Sr. (Anne) of Wappapello, Sharon Bateman (Thomas Lee) of Baltimore, Md. and John Adams (Donna) of Hebron, Ky.; four grandchildren: Billy Richard Adams, Jr., Christopher Michael Reid, Danielle Rebecca Blockston and Michael Christopher Adams; great-grandchildren: Caleb Jeremiah Blockston, Aidan Xavier Blockston, Lucien Swift Blockston, Christopher Cameron Reid, Travis Robert Reid and Morgan Rachel Reid; brothers: Bud Cunningham of Sikeston, Mo., Billy George Cunningham (Betty) and Jackie Dale Cunningham (Sandy) all of Wappapello and Archie Lee Cunningham (Pat) of Lovington, NM; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Her parents, Asa and Pearl Reynolds Cunningham, daughter, Dawn Thompson, granddaughter, Rachel Michelle Adams, sisters, Lillian Burnett, Nadine Cunningham and Norma Jean Hart and brother, Joe Cunningham also preceded Mrs. Adams in death.
A graveside service and burial will be at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday at Little Brushy Cemetery in Wappapello with Rev. Jim Schremp officiating.
