Bob King

Bob King, 85, of Puxico, passed away on Wednesday, May 30, 2018 at John J, Pershing VA Medical Center in Poplar Bluff.

He was born on January 3, 1933 to Roy and Cleda (Allen) King in Campbell, MO. On June 13, 1969 he married Karen Chase in Dudley, MO. Bob worked in St. Louis for several years and retired from the Puxico School System in 2005.

He was a member of Puxico VFW Post 7822 and attended Life Chapel Assembly of God.
Bob is survived by his loving spouse of 49 years, Karen King of the home, three children, Robert (Micah) King of Puxico, MO, David King of Poplar Bluff, MO, and Alicia (Jeff) Thomas of Puxico, MO; nine grandchildren, Grace, Tucker, Maggie, Dalton, Elizabeth, Layla, Chase, Hayden, and Tori; one brother, Carl (Carolyn) King of Mountain Home, AR; and two sisters, Marie (Don) Davis of Puxico, MO, Lois Loida of House Springs, MO.

He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Gerald and Kenneth King; and one sister, Mary Jane Harrison.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, June 3, 2018 at 3:00 p.m. at Life Chapel Assembly of God in Puxico with Reverend Glen Epps, III officiating.

Memorials are suggested to the Harvest Hill Recovery Ministry at Life Chapel Assembly of God.
