Bobby Gene Little

Bobby G. Little, 79, of Poplar Bluff died Monday, Feb. 1, 2010 at Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center.

Mr. Little was born Oct. 25, 1930 in Cape Girardeau. He was an ordained Minister, and an active member of River of Life Ministries in Poplar Bluff where he served as an Elder. Mr. Little was a retired insurance adjustor, and was a veteran of the U. S. Air Force having served during the Korean Conflict. He enjoyed spending time with his family, all types of sports, traveling and fishing.

On June 16, 1951 he married Rose Marie McDaniel. She preceded him in death on Nov. 10, 2006. On July 1, 2007 he married Margaret J. Hicks. She survives.

Other survivors include three children: Bruce Little and wife Ginger of Savannah, Ga., Jerene Manning and husband Dale of Gideon and Kevin Little and wife Elizabeth of Columbus, Ohio; a step-daughter, Jennifer Dudley of Poplar Bluff; five grandchildren: Cambria Howard and husband Chad, Jason Manning and wife Bobbi, Andrea Little, Joseph Little and Michael Little; four step-grandchildren: Rebecca German and husband Randy, David Berry, Charles Anthony Morlan, Jr. and James Anderson Morlan; six great-grandchildren: Madison Howard, Spencer Howard, Brennan Trotter, Cayleigh Manning, Logan Manning and Landon Manning; two step-great-grandchildren: Seth German and Jayden German; and a sister, Janet Lutrell and husband Robert of Cape Girardeau.

His parents, Herbert and Naomi (Braden) Little, sisters, Ruth Dolle and Betty Reddick and step-great-grandson, Layne German preceded Mr. Little in death.

Visitation will be from 6 - 8 p.m. Thursday at Cotrell Funeral Chapel in Poplar Bluff. The funeral service will begin at 11 a.m. Friday at Cotrell Funeral Chapel with Pastor Brent Seawel officiating. Burial with full military honors will be at the City Cemetery in Poplar Bluff.
