Bonnie M. Baker

Bonnie Merle Baker, 79, of Poplar Bluff died Monday, March 8, 2010 at Barnes Jewish Hospital in St. Louis.

Mrs. Baker was born Nov. 20, 1930 in Poplar Bluff. She had retired as an RN after 42 years of service at Lucy Lee Hospital and Doctors Regional Medical Center.

Survivors include three children: Glenna Chronister of Asheville, NC, Mark Chronister of Charleston, SC and Barry Chronister of Fertile, IA; four grandchildren; and three great grandchildren.

Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. - 10:30 a.m. Friday, April 9, 2010 at Cotrell Funeral Chapel in Poplar Bluff. A graveside service and burial will follow at 11 a.m. Friday at Mt. Zion Cemetery on W Hwy. in Butler County with the Rev. Robert Edwards officiating.
