Boyce Ray “Bo” Holt II, 72, of Poplar Bluff, MO, passed away Thursday, May 14, 2026, at The Manor.
Bo was born on December 8, 1953, to Boyce and Melba (Williams) Holt in Newport, Arkansas.
Bo was a member of the 1971 graduating class of Poplar Bluff High School. During his school years, he was a member of the Sho-Me band and heavily involved in student body politics, leading him to be elected the Student Council President. Bo's charismatic and kind personality led him to a career in media, beginning in high school as a disc jockey at a local radio station. He later graduated from Columbia School of Broadcasting. After years of being a broadcasting sales executive across the country, he relocated to Poplar Bluff where he started, All Media Services. His company served the areas radio and television stations, and newspapers. Bo was caring, generous, and always a fun person to be around. He enjoyed golfing, fishing, and going to the river. He was an avid Razorback football and Cardinal Baseball fan. Bo also had a great love for music, especially The Beatles. His presence will truly be missed by all those who knew him.
Bo is survived by his loving partner, Cheryl Brawley; brother, Ben (Debby) Holt; two nieces, Sarah (Alex) Nicolini and Hannah Holt; along with numerous extended family and friends.
Bo was preceded in death by his parents, Boyce Holt and Melba (Williams) Holt-Yazell; stepfather, Gregory Yazell.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, May 20, 2026, from 11:00am-1:00pm at Cotrell Willow Ridge Funeral & Cremation Services. Funeral service will follow beginning at 1:00pm with Pastor Jason Jordan officiating. Burial will take place at the Poplar Bluff City Cemetery where he will be laid to rest next to his mother.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to Boys and Girls Club of the Heartland.
