Boyd Nolen Turnbow

Boyd Nolen Turnbow, 79, of Poplar Bluff, MO, passed away Monday, December 15, 2014, at Poplar
Bluff Regional Hospital.
Mr. Turnbow was born November 6, 1935, in Holland, MO, to the late William Thomas and Myrtle Irene Montgomery Turnbow. On July 21, 1961, he and Frances Craft were married in Bernie, MO. She survives of the home.
Mr. Turnbow was a member of Cornerstone Tabernacle UPC, in Poplar Bluff. He had served his country in the United States Army and had retired from General Mills in Chicago, IL. He enjoyed spending time with his family, watching old westerns and listening to Johnny Cash music.
Survivors include a son: Mark Turnbow (Mary) of St. Francis, AR; two brothers: John Wayne Turnbow, of St. Louis, and Thomas Theodore Turnbow, of Bowling Green, KY; four grandchildren: Amber Nichole Turnbow, Michael Nolan Turnbow, Ashley Marie Turnbow, and Chloe Alizabeth Turnbow; and a great-grandson, Brayden Turnbow.
Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by four brothers: Ernest, Armond, Hugh, and Raymond: and a sister, Joyce Wilder.
Visitation will be Tuesday from 6 ? 8 p.m. at Cornerstone Tabernacle. Funeral services will be at the church Wednesday at 10:30 a.m. with Rev. Bryan Parkey officiating. Interment with full military honors will follow at 12 p.m. at Missouri State Veterans Cemetery in Bloomfield, MO.
