Brenda L Morgan

Brenda L. Morgan, 71, of Poplar Bluff died Saturday, May 16, 2015 at her residence.

Mrs. Morgan was born Sept. 27, 1943, in Corning, Ark., to the late George C. and Beatrice (Duncan) Norwood. She was of the Church of Christ faith and had retired as owner and operator of Morgan's Jewelry and Furs, in Poplar Bluff. Mrs. Morgan enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, flower gardening and collectables.

On Aug. 6, 1961, she married Lynn Morgan, in Poplar Bluff. He survives of the home.

Other survivors include a daughter, Misty Morgan Ray; son-in-law, Rodney Ray; a son, Bryan Morgan and partner, Bill Fouts; and a grandson, Logan Hunter Ray, all of Poplar Bluff.

Visitation will begin at 1 p.m. Saturday at Cotrell Funeral Chapel in Poplar Bluff with the funeral following at 2 p.m. Mr. Dennis Hanes will officiate. Entombment will be in the Chapel of Memories Mausoleum at the Poplar Bluff City Cemetery.
