Brenda Schalk

Brenda F. Schalk, 71, of Poplar Bluff, Mo., passed away Saturday, June 3, 2017 at her residence.

Brenda, the daughter of the late Arthur Vernon and Delma M. Roach Hill, was born Sept. 25, 1945 in Poplar Bluff. She was a member of New Home General Baptist Church. Brenda previously worked as secretary for First Presbyterian Church in Poplar Bluff. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends and reading.

On April 25, 1963, she married Charles Roy Schalk in Bloomfield, Mo. He survives.

Other survivors include three sons, Anthony Schalk, Michael Schalk and Phillip (Dulce) Schalk; and four grandchildren, Page Schalk, Jocelynn Schalk, Makayla Schalk and Miley Schalk.

Two sisters, Linda Kay Hill and Barbara Hill also preceded her in death

A private family memorial service will be held at a later date.
