Brian Belknap

Brian R. Belknap, 70, of Poplar Bluff, passed away on April 23, 2018 in Poplar Bluff, MO.

Brian was born on December 7, 1947 in Poplar Bluff, MO. He graduated from the University of Southern Mississippi where he met the love of his life Maria Tinoco. Brian and Maria were married in October of 1969. They resided in Poplar Bluff, MO and truly set the example of a true love story. Soon they would have their wonderful 3 children which they cared for very dearly. He was blessed with 8 grandchildren who he loved unconditionally who always had him smiling. Upon retiring from his career in banking, he returned to his love of farming. Brian enjoyed working with his son on the farm, watching his grandchildren play sports and cheering them on. He loved spending time with his family and enjoyed vacationing at the beach. Brian and Maria were married for 48 years when Maria gained her wings on May 8, 2016. Brian and Maria's family continue to envision their love story and find comfort in knowing they are together again.

Brian is survived by two daughters, Lilli (Rick) Belknap-Hurst, Monica (Steve) Belknap-West; one son, Brian (Michelle) Belknap II; five granddaughters, Olivia Hurst, Sabrina Hurst, Hannah West, Sofia West, Alexa West; three grandsons, Brian (Tripp) Belknap III, Braden Belknap, Brett Belknap.

A private service will be held.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to the Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 123 N. 8th Street, Poplar Bluff, MO 63901
