Brian Keith Bettis

Brian Keith Bettis, 51, of Williamsville, Mo., died Sunday, Nov. 15, 2015 at Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center.

Mr. Bettis was born May 10, 1964 in Granite City, Ill. He was of the Baptist faith and had worked all around the country as an industrial smoke-stack cleaner. Mr. Bettis enjoyed spending time with his family, hunting and fishing.

On Sept. 28, 1985, he married Rhonda Pierce in Poplar Bluff. She survives of the home.

Other survivors include four children: Nicky Huddleston of Williamsville, Brittany Bettis and Kalyn Welling both of Poplar Bluff and William Pauley of South Roxanna, Ill.; his father, Carles D. Bettis of Williamsville; 12 grandchildren: Payton, Levi, Shelby, Addison, Kanten, Laila, Hayden, Phoenix, Tara, Brian, Kaci and Brooke; five sisters: Sharon Cline of Williamsville, Helen Marks and Janice Brown both of Granite City, Ill., Brenda McCall of Williamsville and Pamela Young also of Granite City; and four brothers: Lonnie Bettis and Rickey Bettis both of Granite City and Richard Bettis and Daniel Bettis both of Williamsville.

Mr. Bettis was preceded in death by his mother, Viola (Shaw) Bettis and a brother, Larry Bettis.

A private family memorial service will be held at later date.
