Cali Deanne Murphy, 16, of Poplar Bluff, passed away on June 3, 2018 at the Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center.

She was born on January 30, 2002 to Kirk Murphy and Jessica (Jennings) Cannady of Poplar Bluff, MO. She attended Poplar Bluff High School and was a member of Westside Church of God.

Throughout her childhood Cali was a part of several extracurricular activities, but spent most of her time playing softball and excelling in JROTC. Cali recently received an award from the Sons of Liberty for outstanding skills in JROTC and was promoted to 1st sergeant for the 2018-2019 school year. Cali enjoyed spending time with friends and family, most specifically her adored sister, Reagan.

Cali is survived by her Father Kirk (Katherine) Murphy and Mother Jessica (Christopher) Cannady; Sister, Reagan Miller; Brother, Hunter Cannady; Two Grandfathers, Ron (Terri) Jennings, Leon (Brenda) Murphy; Two Grandmothers, Lorna (Mark) Daganaar, Sheila Murphy; Six Uncles, Brad (Chelsie) Anspach, Alex (Chrissy) Goins, Grayson (Katherine) Daganaar, Holden Jennings, Justin (Ashley) Murphy, David Murphy; Aunt, Bridget Daganaar; Three Great-Grandmothers, Helen (Gene) Hon; Nettie Hampton, Marge Drysdale; Great-Grandfather, Marvin Daganaar; Boyfriend, Nick Aguilar.

She was preceded in death by Great-Grandfather, Dean Jennings, Great-Grandfather, Edward Hampton, Great-Grandmother, Marlene Daganaar, Great-Aunt and Uncle, Donald (Diana) Williford, Great-Uncle, Jim Hampton, Uncle Scott Murphy.

Cali also leaves behind an abundance of close friends and extended family.

Visitation will be held Thursday, June 7, 2018, 6:00 pm – 8:00 pm at Moore Funeral Service Chapel, Poplar Bluff, MO.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, June 8, 2018, 10:00 am at the Moore Funeral Service Chapel with Jason Jordan officiating. Burial will take place in the Sparkman Cemetery.
