Carol Ann Miller

Carol Ann Miller was born and raised In Poplar Bluff,MO, and graduated from PBHS in 1957.

She worked at the Poplar Bluff Public Library from 1953 until 1960. Married Jerry Lee Miller in 1960. Son Jay was born 1963. Son Carl (Tony) born in 1966. Jerry was in the Marine Corp and was killed in Vietnam in 1967. During her marriage they were stationed at Quantico, Virginia, Camp Pendleton Calif.,Subic Bay and Cubi Point,Philippines and Camp Lejeune, NC.

Back in Poplar Bluff since 1967. She worked at Public Libraries and Elementary libraries and retired in 2002. Her son Jay passed away Feb. 24, 2008 of cancer after a year and a half battle. Her mother Thelma Whitworth passed away on February 9,2009.

She loved to read,do crafts,and visit Goodwill and flea markets. She passed away this Nov.5th.

She is survived by her son Carl Anthony Miller and many cousins,brothers and sister in-laws, aunts and uncles.

Memorial service to be held at Holy Cross Episcopal Church Thursday the 13t11 at 2 p.m. Followed by visitation and refreshments in the parish house.

Memorials may be given to the Episcopal Church Food Pantry or the American Cancer Society.
