Carolyn Louise Felts

Carolyn Louise Felts, 86, of Poplar Bluff, Mo., passed away Wednesday, June 12, 2019 at Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center.
Ms. Felts, the daughter of the late Burl and Mable Schelp Felts, was born July 28, 1932, in Campbell, Mo. She was a graduate of Poplar Bluff High School Class of 1951 and the Licensed Practical Nurse Program. Ms. Felts was a member of First Baptist Church in Poplar Bluff, a member of Bethany Sunday School Class, and a volunteer at the Christian Life Center. She was also a former member of First Baptist Church in St. Louis. Ms. Felts was retired as a special procedure nurse at St. Luke’s Hospital in St. Louis. She enjoyed spending time with her family, going to Sunday school and church, reading and watching the St. Louis Cardinals.
Survivors include her sister Betty Turner; a niece Gayla Fritts; two nephews, Brian Turner and Sam (Kathy) Felts; and several great-nieces and nephews.
A brother, Martin “Marty” Thomas (Jackie) Felts, a brother-in-law Bernard Turner and two nephews Ronnie Felts and Bud Fritts also preceded her in death.
A graveside service will begin at 1:30 p.m. Saturday at the Poplar Bluff City Cemetery with the Rev. Brandon Spain officiating.
Memorials may be made to the First Baptist Church Kitchen Fund.
