Carolyn Sue (Rice) Hill

Carolyn Sue Hill, 61, of Poplar Bluff, passed away Friday, Nov. 27, 2020, at her residence.

Carolyn, the daughter of the late Kinley Rice and Geneva (Gambill) Rice Kniker was born Oct. 11, 1959, in Lepanto, Arkansas.  During her earlier years she worked as a dental assistant and later retired after 23 years at John J. Pershing VA Medical Center.  Carolyn enjoyed spending time with her family and friends and making crafts. She was totally in her element when she was outdoors working in her yard and gardening.

Survivors include her daughter Jana Law; two sisters, Hazel Loyd and Frances Mayse; two nieces; nine nephews; two great nieces; one great nephew; and many friends.

Carolyn was also preceded in death by three rothers, Bobby Rice, Kenneth Rice, and David Rice, and her stepfather William Kniker.

A graveside service will begin at 11 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 3, 2020, at Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
