Caron Shelton

Caron Gene Shelton, 54, of Poplar Bluff died Monday, October 19, 2009 at her residence. Mrs. Shelton was born August 23, 1955 in Sullivan, Mo. She was a homemaker and a member of the Fellowship General Baptist Church and was very fond of animals.

On August 24, 1979 she was married to Keith Shelton. He survives.

Also surviving are one son Shawn Shelton and his wife Lori of Poplar Bluff; one sister Diana Ball and husband Kenny of Bolivar, Mo.; one grandson, Camden Shelton and several nieces and nephews.

Preceding Mrs. Shelton in death were her parents, Harold and Billie (Tourville) Woodcock.

Visitation will be tonight (Tuesday) at 6:00 p.m. at Cotrell Funeral Chapel. Funeral services will be Wednesday at 10:00 a.m. at the Fellowship General Baptist Church with the Rev. Billy G. Orr officiating and Rev. Byron Beck assisting. Burial will be at 3:30 p.m. Wednesday at the Stanton Cemetery in Stanton, Mo.

In lieu of flowers the family requests memorials may be made to the Humane Society or the Fellowship General Baptist Church Building Fund.
