Charles Emory Aldridge, 40, of Van Buren, died Sunday, Oct. 3, 2010 in Van Buren.
Mr. Aldridge was born Dec. 19, 1969 in Ft. Sill, Okla. He was a graduate of Poplar Bluff High School, and a graduate of Three Rivers Community College with an Associates Degree in Biology. Mr. Aldridge later received his Bachelor of Science in Biology, Bachelor of Arts in Chemistry and a Masters Degree in Molecular Biology at Southeast Missouri State University. He served his country for 7 years in the U.S. Navy.
On Sept. 20, 1996 he married Heather Reed in Poplar Bluff. She survives.
Other survivors include his children, Kaitlyn, Josie and Audrey; parents, Dr. George Aldridge and wife Patsy (Rhodes) Aldridge of Poplar Bluff; sisters, Debbie Aldridge of Taos, NM, Ann Aldridge of Hattiesburg, Miss. and Melissa Aldridge of Rolla, Mo.; and brother, Mike Aldridge of Poplar Bluff.
His sister, Mary Fay Aldridge, brother, Justin Alexander Aldridge and grandparents preceded him in death.
The family will receive and visit with family and friends from 6 - 8 p.m. Wednesday at Cotrell Funeral Chapel in Poplar Bluff.
A ceremony with full military honors will be held on the family's farm at a later.
