Charlie D. Holloway

Charlie D. Holloway, 86, of Poplar Bluff, died Tuesday, Sept. 4, 2012 at Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center.
Mr. Holloway was born Feb. 5, 1926 in Marked Tree, Ark. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army, having served in WWII, and was a retired farmer.
Mr. Holloway enjoyed spending time with his family and friends and hunting.
He was married to the former Bernice Young, who preceded him in death on June 12, 2005.
Survivors include 6 children: Louise Holloway of Oklahoma City, Okla., Rose Jackson, of Cape Girardeau, Mo., Mary Boswell of Poplar Bluff, Diane Holloway, of Broseley, and Willie Holloway and Sandy Holloway, both of Poplar Bluff; 19 grandchildren; and many great-grandchildren.
His parents, Will Holloway and Mattie Neal and one daughter, Loretta Holloway also preceded him in death.
A graveside service with full military honors will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Missouri State Veterans Cemetery in Bloomfield with Pastor Keith Luke officiating.
Cotrell Funeral Service of Poplar Bluff is in charge of arrangements.
