Clara Jane Wilson, 75, of Poplar Bluff died Sunday, July 11, 2010 at Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center.
Mrs. Wilson was born May 25, 1935 in Saltville, Va. She was of the Baptist faith and had attended Westwood Baptist Church and Palace of Praise. Mrs. Wilson had retired from the Dial Soap Co. She enjoyed spending time with her children especially her grandchildren, traveling, and playing Bingo.
On Sept. 28, 1953 she married Orby Houston Wilson in Pontiac, Mich. He preceded her in death on March 13, 1998.
Survivors include four children, Judy Walter and husband Ronald of Elwood, Ill, James Wilson and wife Mary of Big Rock. Ill., and Orbie Dean Wilson and Danny Allen Wilson both of Poplar Bluff; 12 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren; 3 sisters, Leota Smith, of Poplar Bluff, Lena Juanita Roeher of Oxford, Mich. and Mildred Ann Freeman of Mt. Julia, Tenn.; and 4 brothers, Robert Wayne Kelley of Pontiac, Mich., Raymond C. Kelley and James Randolph Kelley both of West Branch, Mich. and William C. Kelley of Waterford, Mich.
Her parents, Cornelius and Wilma Doris Hogston Kelley, a daughter, Sharon K. Johnson and her husband Stephen Johnson, and brothers, Benjamin Franklin Kelley and Eddie Joe Kelley also preceded her in death.
Visitation will begin at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Cotrell Funeral Chapel in Poplar Buff. The funeral service will follow at 11 a.m. in the Chapel with the Rev. Jim Osborn officiating. Burial will be at Brown Chapel Cemetery in Broseley.
