Clarence L. Goodyear

Clarence Leroy ""Bill"" Goodyear, Sr., 79, of Fisk died Friday, April 17, 2009 at Southeast Hospital in Cape Girardeau.
Mr. Goodyear was born Feb. 15, 1930 in Canton, Ohio. He was a member of the Apostolic Church of the Lord Jesus Christ in Poplar Bluff. Mr. Goodyear had retired as a machinist and had worked in landscaping as well. He was also a veteran of the U. S. Army. Mr. Goodyear enjoyed fishing, hunting and gardening.
Survivors include 4 children: Bill Goodyear, Jr. and wife Christine of Gilbert, Ariz., Robert D. Bloss and wife Kathy, of Broseley, Frank Goodyear and wife Cathy, of Tillson, NY and Evelyn Bloomquest and husband Nels of Lakeland, Fla.; and 12 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.
His parents, Charles and Dorothy Neoma (Kiehl) Goodyear preceded Mr. Goodyear in death.
Visitation will begin at 2 p.m. Monday at the Wappapello Cotrell Funeral Chapel. The funeral service will follow at 2 p.m. in the Chapel with Bro. Tony Kelly officiating. Burial will be at Qulin Cemetery in Qulin.
