Clarence W. Quade, Jr.

Bill was born Aug. 10, 1944 in Cape Girardeau, Mo., to the late Clarence W. Quade Sr. and Verna K.N. (Stoops) Quade.

Bill graduated with a Bachelors of Science degree from Southeast Missouri State University and held several positions prior to his retirement. Over the years he worked as a foreman with Chicago Bridge and Iron, building nuclear reactors. He also worked as a realtor with H.E.R. Realtors. His most rewarding position was a Quality Control Officer with Rockwell International in Columbus, Ohio on the B-1 Bomber.

Bill was devoted to the Lord! He was also devoted to his wife Vickie, for over 55 yrs. It was often quoted “ where you see one you see the other.” He enjoyed being with his sons, Mark and Trevor fishing, golfing, and hunting, they always seem to find a way to have fun and Vickie was usually involved too!

Bill is survived by his loving wife Vickie; sons, Mark (Abby) Quade of Sikeston, Mo. and Trevor (Ginger) Quade of Poplar Bluff; sister, Darlene (Larry) Pruett of Jacksonville, Fla.; five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday at Cotrell Funeral Chapel in Poplar Bluff. The funeral service will begin at 10 a.m. Monday at Cotrell Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Brandon Spain officiating. Burial will be at Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Poplar Bluff.
