Claudette J. Ritchie Kenney, 68, of Poplar Bluff died Saturday, Dec. 18, 2010 at Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center.
Mrs. Kenney was born Feb. 1, 1942 in Poplar Bluff. She was a member of Pleasant Hill Missionary Baptist Church, and had retired as a hospital surgical technician. Mrs. Kenney enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, traveling and playing cards.
She was married to Will I. Kenney. He preceded her in death on Feb. 25, 1970.
Survivors include ten brothers, John Henry Richie, Jr. of Poplar Bluff, Glenn Thomas Richie and wife, Bea of St. Louis, Donald Richie of Colorado Springs, Colo., Jerry L. Richie of Olney, Md., Larrie L. Richie of Lanhan, Md., Howard D. Richie of Beloit, Wisc., Perry O. Richie and wife, June of Poplar Bluff, Michael R. Richie of Colorado Springs, Colo., Dale Richie and Frederick Keith Richie and wife, Laura of Poplar Bluff; and numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
Her parents, John Henry and Flora Lee (Baker) Richie, Sr. also preceded her in death.
Visitation will begin at 9 a.m. Wednesday Dec. 29th at Pleasant Hill Missionary Baptist Church at 913 Garfield St. in Poplar Bluff. The funeral service will follow at 12 noon with the Rev. Tommy Robinson officiating. Burial will be at the City Cemetery in Poplar Bluff.
